Free Checksum Verifier (Hash Cecker)

Not quite free this program is Donationware as stated on the homepage never the less its up to you if you want to pay.
(I personally would donate)

The main reason for adding this to my blog is that they are very hard to come across in all windows Operating systems: 2000, XP, Vista, and Seven. This one it supports the following checksum types:

- CRC32,
- MD4,
- MD5,
- SHA1,
- SHA-256,
- SHA-384,
- SHA-512,
- RIPEMD-128,
- RIPEMD-160,
- HAVAL 256,
- TIGER 192.

"Drag and drop" function - all you need to to is to drag a file from Windows Explorer onto the form to calculate selected checksum type

Context menu - optional integration with Explorer context menu with Your custom text and defined selected checksum to calculate

Compare checksums - with other selected checksum

Large files support - with size over 32 GB

Very fast - calculate 4 GB large DVD file/image in 2 minutes using md5 algorithm

Portable version - one-file program, just one executable file

Interface - simple, eye friendly with mini-form available

Keyboard shortcuts - as much handy shortcuts as possible, even for copy and paste checksum from clipboard

Save checksum to file - checksum and filename.

History - save all calculated checksums to file.

Additional settings - stay-on-top, save windows position and last used checksum type, show mini-form, show hashes in upper or lowercase, break function, high contrast themes support, log file, snap to edge - all are configurable.

Frequent updates - new releases even a week

Donationware - it's free of spyware to make it clear software, but donations are welcome to support further improvements.

Vision difficulties - this application provides support for users with vision difficulties (vision impairment) - respects Windows skins and color schemas.

Ei42 Cashback Technical Help

The process that keeps track of your transactions is complex and somewhat sensitive, so it is of great importance that you observe the recommendations in this section. If your purchase fails to track, the merchant will not pay Ei42 and Ei42 will not be able to pay you. Although Ei42 will make every reasonable effort to chase merchants and secure your money, by following the advice on this page, you will greatly increase the chances of a smooth transaction, and above all, may receive your cashback faster.

As a general rule, your browser needs to allow cookies, javascript, pop-ups, and third-party images. Further information is provided below in the "Things to Check" section below.

Please follow these steps before each Ei42 shopping session:

1. Delete your internet cookies and temporary internet files, and ensure cookies are enabled. Then refresh your browser by closing it right down and then reopening it.

Sales are tracked using third party affiliate networks. These rely on cookies to establish a link between the merchant and your Ei42 site. If you visit other sites with affiliate links you may have competing cookies in your browser. This increases the chance of the Ei42 cookie not setting properly or the sale being attributed to another merchant. Sometimes merchants also pay commission per cookie, so if you are repeatedly making purchases from one site always delete your cookies before making another purchase.

2. Temporarily disable pop-up blockers and ensure javascript is enabled in your browser.

Some pop-up blockers also disable cookies from affiliate links. Javascript is required by some affiliate tracking networks.

3. Check your internet security settings.

Again, some networks use third party cookies; ensure your browser will accept them. Norton Internet Security has been known to disable affiliate links; check your NIS settings.

Firewalls have also been known to cause issues with cookie tracking. Check to ensure your update server tracking is enabled.

If you are using Internet Explorer, please ensure that your security settings are set at medium or lower, as anything higher than medium may prevent normal tracking.

Note: Some members prefer to use a dedicated browser for Ei42. This way security settings can be set appropriately and cookies can be cleared without affecting everyday use. Using a separate browser just for Ei42 is probably the easiest and most reliable way to maximise tracking. We'd recommend using Firefox as a dedicated Ei42 browser, or if you prefer to use Firefox as your normal browser, use Internet Explorer purely for Ei42 purchases.

Free Shower Smart Water Device

What is this all about?

Eaga, an energy efficiency provider and store, which sometimes delivers government energy saving programmes, has 100,000 free Showersmart devices, which make your shower more energy efficient, to give away to households in England, Scotland and Wales.

Plus if you’re over 70 or receive means tested benefits (eg working tax credit, income support, housing benefit etc.) you can get 4 free energy saving light bulbs.

How do I get one?

Go to the Eaga website and select if you are applying for just the Showersmart or the energy light bulbs too.

Then just ‘click to apply’, ‘add to cart’, ‘checkout’ and enter your name and address.

It should be dispatched within 6 to 8 weeks. They are only available while stocks last but with 100,000 on offer this shouldn’t run out any time soon. Its likely you will receive details of further offers, so beware if you dont want that.

How does the Showersmart work?

The Showersmart is a small device that you attach to your shower that claims to make it more energy efficient.

The unit works by regulating the flow of water through your taps to an even 7.8 litres per minute, which according to the manufacturer saves a two person household £20 year in energy costs & water meter users £20/year too.

The unit is about 5cm long and fits between your tap and the end of the shower hose. It’s supposed to be really easy to fit, so you don’t need a plumber to help.

Does it fit my shower?

The Showersmart is suitable for all mains-pressure showers where hot water comes from a combi-boiler or hot water tank. This includes non electric showers and bath/shower mixer taps but does not include electric showers, showers with multiple jets or rainwater showers.

Thanks to MoneySaver CLLC for the top spot, this post has been inserted to provide full details of the offer.

Ei42 The On-Line Shopping Revolution

Hi Readers,

I received an email from one of my fellow affiliates in march 2008 who sources similar opportunities to me and he told me of this site where he:

1. Earns a cash back if he buys from this site
2. Earns a cash back if anyone of his friends and family, create and buy from their own site
3. Earns a cash back if anyone of his friends' friends create and buy from their own site

I thought the sort of retailers on this cash back site would be unheard of retailers. However I was wrong!

It has Ebay, PC World, Argos, Comet, Debenhams, HMV, Currys....do I need to go on?

Then I thought the cash back might be rubbish. However again I was wrong.

You can earn a good percentage back off what you pay or they pay you a fee for buying a particular product or service.
You can open one of these shops i tell you no lie, it took me 30 seconds.

New in 2008 !!

The company's name is Ei42 they make payments to you in the form of BACS, PayPal or if you don't have a PayPal or a bank account receive your cheque in the post.

What's more they are a fresh new company with great ideas and plans for your future..

I really do suggest you take a good look around on my shop and join your self all the info you need will be there
