Free Port Forwading Software

Simple
Port Forwarding By PcWinTech.com

Don't you just love it when software is free? When software is free and its as good as this little gem i found who can argue...

If your a amateur or a pc pro this is the way to get your ports configured with out all the hassle of inputting all the codes manually and whats more unless your router has a save button for your forwarded ports will get deleted with a power cut or factory reset.

Simple port forwarding software will stop the need to keep inputting port number codes time and time again by the touch of a button.

With simple port forwarding you can configure your router configure your firewall and test your ports are open and one hundred percent working.

Simple port forwardind boasts a huge amount of the main stream routers on the market to day with updates made very frequently. If your router is not listed you can contact pcwintech.com here PcWinTech.com and ask them if they can add your particular router. As well as a vast database of port code Game or Application Definitions with the option to manually input any that are not listed.

My advice is to give simple port forwarding a go today!! You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Free Shower Smart Water Device

What is this all about?

Eaga, an energy efficiency provider and store, which sometimes delivers government energy saving programmes, has 100,000 free Showersmart devices, which make your shower more energy efficient, to give away to households in England, Scotland and Wales.

Plus if you’re over 70 or receive means tested benefits (eg working tax credit, income support, housing benefit etc.) you can get 4 free energy saving light bulbs.

How do I get one?

Go to the Eaga website and select if you are applying for just the Showersmart or the energy light bulbs too.

Then just ‘click to apply’, ‘add to cart’, ‘checkout’ and enter your name and address.

It should be dispatched within 6 to 8 weeks. They are only available while stocks last but with 100,000 on offer this shouldn’t run out any time soon. Its likely you will receive details of further offers, so beware if you dont want that.

How does the Showersmart work?

The Showersmart is a small device that you attach to your shower that claims to make it more energy efficient.

The unit works by regulating the flow of water through your taps to an even 7.8 litres per minute, which according to the manufacturer saves a two person household £20 year in energy costs & water meter users £20/year too.

The unit is about 5cm long and fits between your tap and the end of the shower hose. It’s supposed to be really easy to fit, so you don’t need a plumber to help.

Does it fit my shower?

The Showersmart is suitable for all mains-pressure showers where hot water comes from a combi-boiler or hot water tank. This includes non electric showers and bath/shower mixer taps but does not include electric showers, showers with multiple jets or rainwater showers.

Thanks to MoneySaver CLLC for the top spot, this post has been inserted to provide full details of the offer.

FREE MONEY FOR CHRISTMAS !

Claim your £520 / £1,040 Child Tax Credit!

If you have a child born between 1986 and 2003, you are entitled to £520 or even £1,040

It is easy to claim but you must do so before the 31st January

The year before Tax Credits were introduced there was a different non-means tested allowance available which was never advertised by the inland revenue.

It is called the Children's Tax Allowance for the tax year 2002/03

If you have not received the allowance already, you can still claim it before the deadline of 31st January 2009.

You will need to phone HMRC on 0845 302 1437 and ask them to check whether you have already received this allowance - you will need your National Insurance Number.

You are eligible to claim an allowance of £520 if;

* You have a child born between 6th April 1986 and 5th April 2003 AND
* The child lived with you for all or part of that year AND
* You worked and paid tax for all or part of that year AND
* You or your partner earned over £6,000 in their 2002/03 Tax Year

You are eligible for an allowance of £1,040 if;

* You can answer yes to the four questions above, and
* One of your children was born between 6th April 2002 and 5th April 2003

NOTES
Making a claim does not affect your current or future entitlement to Working or Child Tax Credit.

Your marital staus is irrelevant.

You cannot claim the allowance twice and if your final tax code on April 2003's P60 ended in an H or T you have already had the allowance.

This is easy to claim, first phone the number above and check whether you have received the allowance (you probably have not).
You then need to write to your local Tax Office (ask HMRC for the address when you phone), with your details to claim the allowance.

NEW!!! NEW!!! NEW!!!

Here is a link to the HMRC Form which you can fill in and send to your local Tax Office. It's a PDF File so you will need Acrobat reader to download and print it.

http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/forms/11ctc.pdf

I am supplying the above for information purposes only and it does not constitute financial or tax advice.

If you need any help with your claim post a message here and I will do my best to answer any queries.

Also, it would be nice to see this wall filled with messages from people who have successfully claimed a bit of extra Christmas money !

What are you waiting for the clock is ticking.
